rear differential BIG PROBLEM

hey guys,
I was doing my 6MT swap into my 5MT WRX this weekend. Everything was going to smooth i just knew that something bad was going to happen, That' s just howmy luck is nothing ever goes completely smooth. Anyway trans came out and went in without a problem. When i went to the rear to change the ring and pinion on my diff i was unbolting it and instead of the nut comming off of the pumpkin the whole stud came out!! well i figured i can fix that later so i went on. When i pulled the drain plug off there was all kinds of metal on the magnet. I mean that the normal plug itself is about 3/4 of an inch thick but with all of that metal on it it was more like two inches thick!!! I cracked the case and my viscous coupling is totally destoyed.
Anyway on to my delima i have been shopping and trying to decide what kind of differential to buy, do i want a suretrac, helical gears, or do i want a clutch type like kaaz or cusco. Any info at all would help. AND PLEASE MAKE THIS QUICK MY CAR IS STILL ON JACKSTANDS!!!!

thanks,
Rance

alot of japanese drifters use the cusco RS and they kick the **** out of their diffs so i know that they must be good...but if i am not mistaken you must change all of the diffs if you are changing one...

Rance,
Sorry, I don't know what to recommand. But do you mind posting some pictures of your diff? Just curious to see, that's all. Hope you get it fixed soon. Good luck!

yeah I'll try and get those posted over the weekend. just haven't had time i actually took several pics throughout the install. Let me tell you all, whoever said that this was an easy install was smoking crack. It wasn't extremely hard but it took forever it seemed like and NEVER, EVER try to do it with jackstands that 6MT is about the heaviest transmission i have ever seen.
