Angry Popping out of 2nd gear

When I'm coasting, especially downhill (on compression) my transmission will shift itself to neutral from 2nd gear. To reiterate, I'll be coasting along in 2nd gear, and the gear shifter will pop into neutral. After this, I can put it back in 2nd. If I'm on the gas, it won't pop out again until I start coasting.

Anyway, I'd like to know what part is messed up inside the transmission. I don't think it's a shift fork or synchro, but perhaps the 2nd gear itself? If you have any ideas, please let me know.

Thanks

-Matt
