new exedy clutch noises

A week ago I had an exedy stage 1 clutch and light weight flywheel put in

the car has been driven 700 miles since then, atleast 500 highway(tahoe trip), but when ever I am not accelerating in 3rd/4th gear it makes a very noticeable noise when the musics off. My mechanic gave me a sheet from exedy that said that there would be different harmonics which could lead to it, but I was just wondering if it would eventually go away?

sorry if this has been posted before

Im not really sure how to describe the noise. Kind of like the sound that a clutch makes when you downshift without rev matching, but not as vicious?

I was talking to a employee at Mann Engineering over the phone about getting a new clutch and flywheel put in (The same Exedy stage 1 and light weight flywheel combo) and he said that you wouldn't want a light weight flywheel in a DD because it would make a bunch of unwanted clanking noises.. I'm guessing its that?

Other than the noises how do you like the clutch?

Also curious... I just installed a stage 1 organic clutch too.

No it will not go away. Some people experience this, some dont. I did. I live with it. Just get used to telling people "Oh that noise? yea, its normal."
