kartboy short shifter question

i just ordered a kartboy shifter and bushings, and have a quick question. even though the actual shift shaft is shorter will the stock shift boot still fit okay? oh, and will the stock shift **** fit? i'm assuming that both shifter use the same thread pitch for the ****. i'd feel somewhere beyond stupid if i got it in the car and something like that happened. thanks.

Everything should fit just fine. I installed the Kartboy shifter on my 2.5 RS and it only took 5min and I had no problems at all with it.

great, thanks. i only asked because i've had a few problems in the past with companies doing something stupid like shipping kits with bolts of the wrong threads. i actually had a brake caliper ruined once by a company that shipped a stainless steel brake line kit with banjo bolts of an improper thread pitch.
