How much hp can a 6 speed MT take?
Does anyone know how much horsepower a US spec 6 speed STi trans can take? Is it worth the cash or should I build my 5 speed? I'm aiming for around 400 to the wheels and I need a trans that can take the abuse of daily driving. What do ya'll think is the best option?

the 6 speed is built by getrag. It is in an entirely different league to the 5 speed and there is no comparison whatsoever between the two except the 5 speed costs less. If you know anything about the manual transmissions in supras then you know getrag builds tough, tough ****. The 6 speed is really, honestly, superior in every single way to the 5 speed.
