Help a noob -- advice on a high stall TC?
Howdy all,
I have a new silver 03 WRX sedan --- a 4EAT w/7K on it to be exact. Seeking a little more kick off the line, I've been looking into getting an upgraded high stall torque convertor...
I just wanted to give ashout out and see if anyone has any useful info on the subject, such as who is recommended, who to have install (I'm in SoCal), and are there any downsides I should be awar of (such as danger to the tranny, etc.).
I'm afraid I have very little car knowledge and am gleaning mostly from lurking on forums and reading books. Help!
