HELP! I need help with a MT clutch

Hey, I am in desperate need of help with my clutch. The problem seems to be air in the clutch slave cyl. When the clutch is depressed it feels spongy and it does not enguage the clutch. I have allready droped the transmission tonight and have check the throw out bearing, I have also checked the fork, I have also tried to blead the system to rid it of air. It has not helped. I am looking for someone who is a subaru tech or has had this problem before, I am willing to call long distance to get some troubleshooting help on this!!! Please please help!

Thanks

Were you changing your clutch? Did you engage the clutch with the fork after mating the trany and engine?

I had the same problem. I had someone press the clutch in while I played with the fork until the clutch finally engaged.

Hope this helps.

Did you put back the lever (fork) that is located on the top driver side on your tranny?

Assuming that you installed your clutch correctly, put your car in first gear, have somebody play with lever while you are in the vehicle playing with the clutch until you feel it engage.

Mine is fixed and worked for a little while but my tranny is broken. Before i changed the clutch my tranny was making a weird clunky sound thought it was the clutch it was actually the tranny. So STi 6-speed for me!!

Socrates42 make sure the slave cylinder doesn't have an extra twist in the line,if thats not it when you ingage the release fork on the throw out bearing push the top of it towards the firewall and you'll hear it click in.Did you get a new flywheel of resurface your old one? Hope this helps.
