having a hard time shifting

having a hard time shifting

When putting it into first gear its really hard... and I gotta force it in and sometimes it grinds... also shifting for all gears are hard... what could be the problem?? Thanks

have you flushed the tranny fluid recently? could be in need of replacement.

Yea I just did full maintenance like 3000 miles ago. Could it be the clutch???

Uh oh yea it was synthetic. Isn't the tranny fluid just gear oil???

try using the uncle scotty mix or just go with oem. should help

synthetic is not the way to go on our transmissions. go to your local autozone,kragen,etc... and pick up 1 quart of Penzoil Syncromesh(same as GM syncromesh) and the rest of the fluid should be Valvoline 75w-90. mix them together and see what happens. My trans was very notchy with Redline oil and when I used this mix is shifts a lot better.
