Fwd Fuse Link
I have been talking to a dealer and he has suggested that in some models a fuse holder in the legacy wagon engine bay turns it into a FWD, i have a 1994 TT legacy gt wagon and have found a fuse holder called diff lock, but not one named FWD, once a fuse is placed in this fuse holder it brings up a light on the dash showing Diff Lock. does anybody know of this fuse holder and what year and model is it in, ive been told it can improve the fuel economy of the subaru so im keen to give it a shot if possible, cheers

My fathers XT6 has this but it is a button on the console. When you engage this you make the diffs positive traction. Only engage when on surface that is not grippy. otherwise your tires and possibly your drivetrain could be damaged. And no, gas mileage is not better and in fact probably worse.
