I remembe seeing a while ago someting about a fuse for the impreza to make it fwd. I was under my hood the other day and found a spot to put it. What amp fuse do i use and will it mess stuff up?

As I understand it only the automatic flavor of the WRX can have their AWD disabled/enabled by a fuse. I believe the 5spd's system is purely mechanical and cannot be disabled.
