Full Depressed Clutch Sticking?

I have 850 miles on my '03 WRX and for the past 100 or so I've been feeling the clutch kind of stick when it's fully depressed (which is whenever I shift gears). For a second, it felt like gum or something was stuck to the back of the clutch pedal and it was just getting stuck and unstuck to the floor mats, but after checking, it's the pedal. Does anyone know what this is? Or if this is bad or not?

It's not good and not normal. If the pedal stays depressed for a moment after the gearchange, it can lead to premature wear of the clutch itself, since you will be applying throttle after shifting. A proper shift means slipping the clutch just enough for a smooth gear change, and no more. Don't try to live with it - take it back to the dealer under warranty and have them fix it.

Agreed - even with 9k plus miles on the odo my clutch never exhibited "sticking" behavior. I'd get it checked out.

Sounds like the spring in the slave cylinder has gotten weak or broken.

This thing here:

I had the same problem with my 99 RS, usually when it was humid out. There is a bolt or screw up by the pedals that you can adjust. It is actually located above the gas pedal IIRC.
