Clutch sticking when cold outside?
For the past few days it's been below zero here at night. When I go outside in the morning to start my car, the clutch sticks to the floor for a second. It's does this until the car is warmed up. It also makes a funny crunchy whiney type sound right when it disengages between shifts until it's warmed up. Is this normal for a new 04 with only 2000 miles on it?
i got the crunchy noises after i released the clutch from initial startup. The clutch felt very solid and hard to engage. I think it could be the tranny fluid is frozen. This problem does not happen when the car is garged and not subject to severe cold weather.

my 96 nissan 240sx does this too. you should feel my tranny whens its cold. Dosen't go from 1st-2nd at first have to go 1st neutral then 2nd. after it warms up though the tranny slides in with ease. the easiest smoothest tranny I have ever driven.
