?Flywheel upgrade during recall clutch replacement
Hi to all,
NEED ASSISTANCE!!
I am having my 035102R recall replacement of stock clutch & flywheel next week to my near stock 02WRX, & while my mechanic is at it, I am debating if I should buy a lightweight flywheel, like Exedy, & install this instead of the stock replacement. My mechanic said he'll do it, np, just leave it in the trunk. I would think it would be a good idea to take advanage of this now, since all this labor is covered. A brand new clutch is great enough, but a lightened flywheel installed free, hmmmm...
First of all, should I do this mod?
Will it give me more HP at the wheels?
Should I do lightened pulley's at the same time? or later?
I have seen some threads on which flywheels are better, like JUN, Exedy, etc.
I am leaning to a @12lb Exedy Chromolly, but not sure if I should go with Aluminum.
Suggestions.......... Thanks in advance..

TSB done & feeling good
Guys just to let you know... I got the Exedy lightweight flywheel install, & it's great. My new clutch works perfect with it.. It feels like I have about 40 more wheel hp. Either way, it rocks! I don't even have to rev the engine any more than before... hee hee Thanks for all your comments people!! :-P
