Arrow Downpipe and catalyic converter question

So I just bought the Megan Racing downpipe, I'm waiting for it to come in. But I had a question that concerned me when i took a look under my car today. I was getting my exaust re-done to 2.5 inches instead of 2.25 cuz the guy F**ked up. ANYWAYS, i was looking at my cats...so here's my question

I have one cat where the exaust pipe connects to, then the other one is where my stock downpipe is, and the other is somewhere in the left front of the car. But i was wondering, when i put in my downpipe, does it delete 1 or 2 of the cats? I'm thinking 2 because the pipe has to connect to the exaust pipe. If both cats have to come off, they both have the O2 sensers on them. I wanted to see if anyone knows how i could go about turning off the check engine light if it is true that both have to come off. I know an access port is the best option, but i don't have the money for that yet.

I'd appreciate ANY help. Thanks guys.

yea you would need an AP and a map and tune to take care of the check engine light

Yea, i'm getting a new megan racing downpipe. I'm waiting for it to come in. But i was concerned about the cats.

Also another question, my exaust pipe that i have on is welded, it's not a bolt on. so would this be a problem when i get my downpipe, or can i just weld on the other side to the exaust.

is the megan racing downpipe catless? Is it TBE or hi flow cat?

do you have a link to what you bought?

so the downpipe you have now bolts up to the turbo and then is welded to the mid pipe?

so your new DP is going to be a direct bolt on replacement....it will be the same thing as your stock but without cats...

should just bolt right in.

will need an AP or tuning to clear the codes when you get it installed.

the downpipe is larger than you think. Goes from the back of the turbo to the second cat. Ends right after the O2 sensor I think? Anyway, you'll figure it out once you go to replace it.

your cats are attached to the exhaust yes. But just as you are unbolting your stock DP your new MR DP will bolt on in the same place. So you will still have a cat on your mid pipe but will have a catless DP.

#2 is your DP and #1 is your mid.
so you will just be swapping out DPs
