Thumbs down dc sports new short throw shifter....

hey all whats up? Just wanted to say a couple of things about the new short throw shifter for the wrx/sti from dc sports. I had it drop shipped to my shop last week and after putting it in I wish that i would have just left the car stock or installed a kartboy because I'm unhappy about the design and overall product its self. I looked at the kartboy install instructions on the net and they were so much more clear and easier then the dc sports one. the rod was just as tall as the stock rod, and it lifts the actual shift rod that goes to the trans up about 2 inches, makes shifting a chore. just wanted to warn anybody thingking about putting the dc sports on their car.

It's funny to see how the manufacturers that the Honda guys swear by put out such crap for Subarus. Breaking coil springs on Skunk2 coilovers, crappy short shifters by DC Sports.

Good times.
