Yesterday i was out ralleing in my 94 subaru impreza and once i had finished my slide the wheel went all crazy, like it had a mind of its own and i stopped. Once the shuddering stopped i tried to put the thing in 1st and go home i found that i couldn't go anywhere. i could let go of the clutch in any gear and not stall as if it was in nuetral. When i gave it gas the engine worked well and the speedo read 20 even though i was not moving. I was not stuck and my brake wasn't on. Once i got to a neibors house i was told it was a broken c/v joint but im not so sure, can someone confirm or deny this and give and estimation on the price to fix? thanks
