:( Clutch or Tranny

all i have to say is.....KABOOOOOMM.....i launched last night against my friend's WRX...and something went KABOOOOOM......i am unable to put my car in first gear and drive however im able to put it in second gear and drive it...the only working gears are second, third, fourth, fifth, and reverse...i can barely put my car in first and when i force it in and attempt driving it makes a terrible grinding sound and the car refuses to move....

the main question is am i gonna need a completely new Tranny? or is it just a clutch problem.... i really need help on this BAIC's....please gimme some feedback asap i need some of you guy's expertise on this....if its possible id like to get hands on help from you guys if you know anything on this....if possible i'll provide my address and phone number for you guys if you wanna come through and help me out...i'd much appreciate any type of help whether its through this thread or if you guys actually come through....dammmit i dont know what to do....

You don't have to replace the whole transmission, you can replace individual parts in a manual. It sounds like first is done...

It ain't a clutch problem if only some of the gears are effected.
Oh well - time for a 6-speed swap

Forget the 6speed, get the RA gears. Better investment as it's cheaper and as reliable.
