my buddy has an 02 wrx automatic and he just got a vf 39. he wants to get it on the dyno and get it protuned but people have been telling him he cant because its an automatic. whats the deal im confused?

 

automatics don't dyno well. Tell him to contact Ed of EQTuning and do Road Tuning with him. I did that when my car was an automatic and it turned out great

 

mike at GST tuned my auto when he was at gruppe-s. He was able to get me 255 whp on 2nd gear pulls and the car runs great. i was happy with what mike did to my car and my car runs great.

I would probably go with ed and get it tuned if i had to do it again.
