almost two days with the WRX, Tranny report:

Ok, I picked her up yesterday and heres what I got to say about the MY04 tranny:

the moment I pick her up she stall, I didn't expect the enagement point to be soooo high (its almost near the point of no clutch at all). then theres another issue about waiting for second gear to catch. You have to wait a moment before you release (not dump) the clutch for it to go smooth(or it will go really rough, or jerks). below 4k is still fun in city traffic, I have 60 miles on it now since I didn't drive to work yet (need to truely get to know the tranny before I drive it out to the open).

I plan to practice every night until I get 1st perfectly (no stall). I still stall about once every 5 lights.

Reverse isn't so bad since I could still get it on gear when I was backing up from my drive way (not as bad as many said it is).

And this is my first 5 speed. I guess two more days, and then I can go anyway with this baby...lol This is getting fun!

it got 28 miles on it, I don't think the cluch is worn as my dealer doesn't let anyone test drive the wrx.
