I'm still amazed on what a difference it is. A good group buy will probably bring it down to 1000-1100, I paid 1200 plus install (install charge was cheap). It's not too difficult to install, I just just don't have time nor tools for it.
IMO shifting feels smoother and easier through the driveline. I'm really happy with this mod in every way.
+1 for ACPT.
+1 for FLI.

Can't vouch for the OP, but I have not had any noise or vibration issues from the CF driveshaft, at any speed. Although our stock Impreza side mirrors still make the horrible humming over like 100mph (for those who like road courses, you'll know what I mean). I'd love to have a spare $5-600 to buy some craft square cf side mirrors to eliminate that.

Additional noise? Nothing new that I can notice, imo there is less additional noise apart from your normal tires and engine noise. Vibrations? A small amount nothing negative though, if you weren't in tune with your car I doubt you would notice.
The car seriously feels amazing! I highly suggest people to add a cf ds to their list of mods. If you want a huge improvement in acceleration then get one.
Your removing 13-15lbs from your driveshaft where a good amount of energy is wasted with the stock 2 piece set up. I rate the feel of performance to that of going stock to straight stage 2 (no tune just ots map). Just remember the difference is mainly low to mid and tappers in high rpms.
