ACPT CF Driveshaft came in!!

After months of debating, research and talking to owners with one I decided to buy a cf driveshaft couple weeks ago. I got the call yesterday from Ryan at FLI that it came in, so scheduled for a Thursday install. I will let you guys know how everything feels when I pick up my car tomorrow after work.

Beautiful!!! I remember how happy I was when I got mine installed a couple years ago. Night and day difference imo. It also shows on a dyno as well, since you gain power through less drivetrain losses. Let us know how you like it!

Do these still cost like $1200?

I think so, unless there's a GB going, in which case I thought I'd seen them go for as low as ~$1,000 depending on how many sign up for the GB.

Ok, where should I start. The ACPT CF driveshaft is like putting on 15lbs heavy shoes and then jogging. After you get used to the weight you decide to swap those for 1lbs shoes. First thought, "Damn! I'm fast". Second, "**** I can accelerate quicker". Third, "Damn, I'm not even trying yet!".

IMO it's night and day. It's like a full car with AC on during the summer going up a hill and then dumping the weight and turning off the AC at peak then driving downhill. Seriously. It effortlessly pulls around 2700 and pulls harder around 3500.

I swear the car sounds different too. Driving around and shifting around 3k sounded different from how it sounded with the factory ds.

I didn't even get to drive my car longer than 35mins because I had company softball game to attend. I will let you know more tomorrow.

Why aren't more ppl jumping on this mod?? It's my favorite already hands down.

Preaching to the choir man. I've been singing the praises for a couple years, but people think it's overpriced. To each their own. Those of us in the club know where it's at.

How much drive train loss compared to the stock piece? Are their exact numbers somewhere floating around?
