So my center diff is starting to go out and I've decided to just replace the whole transmission rather than rebuild the center diff. The trans' I'm looking at all have a 3.9 final drive which is the same as the 02 wrx trans, only thing I don't understand is do I need the center diff a to match up as well? From what I've researched the 02 wrx is a 1.1:1 while the jdm wrx is a 1:1. So will it just bolt on or no? Any help would be appreciated.
