i have a 03 wrx and it has about 35k miles on it and lately when i shift into 4th gear it grinds even if i push the clutch all the way in, i just an my tranny flushed at 30k miles..just wonderin if anyone knows whats goin on, thanks...Brandon

 

If it grinds only when you're trying to get it in gear and then it's fine after it's in, then your 4th gear synchro has gone bad.

 

you may have worn out the 3rd / 4th gear hud & slider assy. with the synchros
if this is the only problem then it should not be 2 bad.
