That makes two of us I'm ordering my RA gears either today or tomorrow after stripping my 2nd gear teeth There's two other i-clubbers on here that live here in Cali that have blown their trannys in the last week but I don't think they're getting RA gears. Just going back to stock.

EDIT: I'm replacing my clutch and flywheel, too!

Not sure on the clutch and flywheel yet. I just ordered a standard RA gearst from Gruppe s today. I figured changing out the stock 5th gear wouldn't change my gas mileage that much. That's what most people do. I'd rather all the gears 'match' alittle better, if you know what I mean. Their next shipment comes in 2-3 weeks, so I'd get your order in soon to assure that you get one. Put your name on the list!

Lin, I would get the special edition RA gears, as kspec said. If you just throw your stock 5th gear in with the standard RA's, it may grind, or so I've heard, because the gap would be too big between the 4th and 5th gear. That's why they made the special edition gear set...the 1-3 gears are the same as the standard RA, but they geared 4th to better step you up to 5th gear. Ples they're stronger gears anyways, so while you're at it, I'd go ahead and change all of them out. That's my opinion...you do what suits you best.

yeh i was aware of that when i ordered my ra gear. however when the shipment arrived at gruppe-s for some reason they didnt get any special edition Ra gears. Therefore im stuck with having a big gap between 4th and 5th. Plus summer school starts next week and i have no car, my car has been out for like a month and i really need a car. so i guess i have to live with it. Gruppe-s said there should not be much of a problem retaining stock 5th with ra gears.
