I hate to say it but most people don't drive very well and that doesn't help the problem. Save the money on mods and go to a good high performance driving school first.

 

Auto trannies are for dragsters, if that's what you want it for the you got the right tranny. I have 11000 on my tranny and drive the **** out of the car, but I never "drop the clutch", I slip it. I always match revs on down shifts, and even if I go with 17's I will still stick with 205 width tire (205/40 17) with a medium to hard compound. That's all the car will take without killing tranny. Have been thinking of getting an STi though, just hate the wing.
