2.5rs tranny into a WRX?

I have heard that the 2.5rs tranny will bolt right up into the WRX, is this true? I have also heard that it is much stronger. Do they take the same clutch? Has anyone done this to know it works. I have searched around and have seen that people say that they are going to buy a 2.5rs tranny but I have not actually seen someonw post and say it worked or didn't. Sorry for the newbie questions...

I'm 90% sure you can use a RS tranny in a WRX... since afterall the WRX tranny bolts right up to the RS. I do know though that they take different clutches.

bump..

from what I understand the wrx and the 2.5rs have the same 5 speed (the ratios are slightly different for the first few gears however)... They should have similar strengths.

they DO take different clutches (one uses a pulling leverage to disengage the clutch, the other, a pushing leverage...(?)
