Angry Bad day at the track!!!

So I was driving around a lot today. I was hearing some strange noises from time to time, a little knocking, but it went away. Earlier in the afternoon I purchased $20 worth of race fuel and decided I would go to the street legal drags at the local track for the first time.

So I get to the track around 9:15, pay my $15 to get in, go to tech, yatta yatta yatta. Get up to the line, launch at about ~4000rpm to play it safe. BTW I only have a catback and Accesport stage 1. Car feels okay, pull up to get my slip: 14.938 @ 92.72. I was hoping to get a best of 13.9 tonight, I was thinking, how am I going to shave off a whole second??? Anyways, I pull around and I'm waiting in line when some guy comes up to my car and tells me that my tire is flat! Grrr. Of all the rotten luck. after I spend $ to get in I find I have a flat. Tried to fill it back up and it wouldn't hold any air. Big freakin hole in my S-03. Had to put on the donut and drive home.

Really pissed me off, I had to vent. I will be back with a vengeance.

Whatever was in my tire must have come out during my run. I hope it didn't get picked up by anyone else...

Last time I went to the track I couldn't launch for ****. My car runs low 13s but I couldn't break 14 that night. I was having ****ty 60', like 2.3s, 2.4s.

with awd? lol. Might be able to pull that off w/ 2 wheel drive. . . hell, two donuts on the rears of a front driver might reduce rolling resistance, who knows.

How did you not realize that you had a flat at the drags? I would have thought that either you would see it or someone at the track would have noticed it before you raced it. I would assume that you would shave off a little time if you had an inflated tire.
