ok, its an 02 wrx, im adding an o5 STI tranny. i have every thing in, i just need to get the power to the weels. how do i do it? I tryed moding the axles, it didnt work. my next step is fabing them... any one know any outhere way? what can i do to use what i have.

i have the:

o5 tranny

05 rear diff

05 drive shaft

05 axles

all of this with all of the 02 drive parts... is there any way to mod what i have to work?

 

you need the sti hubs to use the sti shafts the splines are bigger

 

Hubs for R180 equipped cars are different. I encountered the same issue with my RS/STI conversion.

You could have an axle shop mod em....but I wouldnt recommend it.

I just had them swap the whole rear end + hubs and brakes. it was $200 more than sending the axles to be customized. and now I have 2 potters!

 

where is a good place to look for the specail swap parts like the r180 and axles cause i want to start getting an idea of what and how much to swap to a Sti 6 spd non-DCCD trans, and brembos all around. rear end swap possible if cost is similar to convert for brembos(plus a much strong rear diff).
