As far as the physical swap part of the engine, it's very simple and straight forward. there is no fabrication needed, you can use a stock part for everything, as long as you have the right one. Wiring is the difficult part; you can (and should) use a complete wiring harness from the donor car for yours. This is how most shops do it. the best thing to do is talk to a shop that has swap experience and ask them.

You'll need the complete(uncut) wiring harness, ecu, turbo, the stock exhaust(unless your upgrading), the fuel controller+pump, upgraded clutch and another car/truck to get around while you wait.

If you're in Socal, they're a few shops to choose from and tuners also.
