I have an 06 wrx and i tried to put an 04 sti intercooler into it but the hose on the y-pipe was too short..what should i do...did anyone else try this?

I've done it, you need a different y-pipe and a different throttle body hose. I used the Gruppe-S y-pipe kit and a slightly longer Throttle body hose from hose techniques.

I don't remember the diameter of the hose I ended up getting though, I think it was eithe 2.75 or 3 inches. You will have to trim a little bit off the length with a scalpel, just make sure you don't trim off too much.
