Hi, I have decided to buy a EJ20 WRX turbo motor. I have never done a swap before but am tired of my weak EJ22 in my 98' Impreza Outback Sport. Along with the motor swap, I want to do a auto to manual conversion. I want to know just how difficult this job is, is it worth it? Does anyone know anybody in the Chicago area that could do something like this (I would pay good) or a shop that could do it without charging me a ridiculous price? What additional parts do I need for the engine swap? I do plan on doing some research still but I need to let the guy know soon if I want the engine and tranny so any help would be greatly appreciated.
