gruppe-s seems to build engines so I would take a guess that they can do a swap. as far as power goes, you are going to be limited only by the amount of money you want to spend. wrx swaps can be had pretty cheap compared to the huge cost of a swap to a 2.5 and a 6 speed.

Last I checked GruppeS doesnt do conversions. Just installs and tuning (I asked them). LIC motorsport is #1 in Cali for conversions. In Socal there's GarageTuning.
Look to spend anywhere from 7-9K
Words from the wise:
Going from auto to manual is gna cost you. All the components and wiring that make the auto work would have to be swapped. Finding a good transaxle costs as much as a motor in some cases. Most important for youngster going from an auto to manual. Practice on a stick.... Learn how to heel-toe when u downshift. Dont just go from 4th to 3rd to 2nd by just selecting the gear and letting out the clutch. blip the throttle and wait for the moment when the revs rise up to where they would be if changed to a lower gear....then let out the clutch and u will notice a much smoother downshift.....in other words if ur on the freeway in 5th and the revs are @3000. selecting 4th is goin to raise the revs to 4500. Don just let out the clutch and watch the revs go up themselves and feel the car suddenly slow down. Push in the clutch and hold it....put the revs to 4500 with the gas then let out the clutch. Youll make ur tranny and clutch last longer that way. Once youve practiced that for about a year then try blipping the throttle with ur toes while stepping on the brakes with ur heel. once youve mastered that only then will u know the basics of handling a manual sports car. Ive seen too many kids just drop a gear and upset the car mid turn and have a nice yard sale after.
Good luck on ur swap....
