can you guys help me out with a all season tire please
Ok, so it is now time for me to get some new all season tires. I want something that is great in the rain, dry, and the snow for Lake Tahoe trips. From everything that I have searched tonight this seams like the best all around all season tire. I also like the fact that it did great in the snow and in the dry. Any help or advice would be great!
So far I think this is my first choice.

I used to have the continental Contisports, they worked well in everything from 115 temps down to -16. They were a pretty decent tire with decent all around performance considering what they were.
when i replace tires on my wifes wrx wagon, those are definatly at the top of my list.

Have those tires on my winter wheels. Awesome in the rain, snow and dry.
The sidewalls are pretty soft. Low road noise and pretty soft ride.

dont you rallyX? it should be based on widest tread grooves...forget about all the other stuff! something with a 50/50 contact patch lol
i've always had my eye on a set of these, looks like theyd tear dirt up!

your finger almost falls into the big grooves when you rub em. Yes i like to rub tires pretending my hand is a dirt surface lol.

^ those are what I have, they were great in the rain, dry, and light snow. But I got stuck this last year going home at my house in Tahoe, I live off Pioneer trail and they don't plow the side streets at night and I got stuck in only 6in of snow so I jest need something better for the snow. but light snow was great

those always looked kinda useless to me, i mean for rallyX...once you get any rotation to them i could just see them spinning with no grip just from their pattern.
Ive heard theyre good on the street too, and I dont doubt it. But with my wheelsets i dont bother for happy medium...if you want offroad grip, go for it, dont get stuck in the middle.
You need a slick fat sticky tread wheelset for street, and a knobby tire for winter...don't bother to find a happy medium, because you will find disappointment at one end.

Those exclaims will last way over 15K

^ I used them in the last 2 that I did and I like how they were in the dirt, the spin plus the 340whp made it really fun. I would like a tire that will also be good in dry cause I'm kinda lazy and don't like to change my wheels till snow season is over lol

i could see them gripping on hardpack blue groove dirt...but when do you find that? rallyX's are either dust or mud. I just think the tread groove "teeth" shapes are just too thin of gaps. But i've never driven them so i cant say S...but i will lol
