Need help with swap?!

I just bought a 95 Impreza L this november 04...its non-turbo...2 door w/spoiler
all wheel drive...& cruise control (i love cruise control).

anyways, i'm thinking about swapping out the stock engine and putting in a wrx stock engine (hey, i'm on a budget - around $2500)...what's a good site to look for help & engine besides this one? basically, i want more hp without sacrificing the comforts of this car.

also, what type of bodykits will fit on this model...i've been researching online for bodykits and i only see kits for '00-'04 wrx/sti's only.

if anyone could help, please!!!!!!!!...would appreciate it.

go to rs25.com and search around there, theres more help on that bored with the older body styles such as yours and mine. How do you like your L so far??? is it 1.8 or 2.2?

 

Not sure if this will help you or not, but the website http://www.takakaira.com/ has the largest online catalog i've seen that has GC8 body kits. And there's pictures to go with it. Never ordered anything from them, so can't vouch either way for them as a company, but maybe it will help in your research. Good luck with your project.

(PS. last time i checked that website only worked in Internet Explorer, so watch out if you're using Firefox)

my "L" is only a 1.8L...but it drives & handles well.
