Arrow 1993 Impreza LS AWD (planning EJ20T swap) [please help]

Hey i know theres a bunch of engine swap threads, i searched through some but i think this is the best way to get some help, because im not doing the EJ25T swap im doing the older WRX engine.

*here is what i know

- my 93 impreza LS, is the first year impreza's were made, the body style is pretty much the same to 2001, so i can throw on an RS bodykit or whatever, to upgrade the look. the headlights and a few other things are different. I know the regular L's dont have the painted molding, mirrors or door handles (this has nothing to do with anything, still thought id mention)

- ej20t is the older wrx engine, the newer one is the ej25t

- i have a ej18, i heard the 2.0L swap was easier than the 2.5L swap.

- what my plan was, was to buy an older wrx GC8 front clip.

is there anything else i need to know?
any problems with the swap?
my transmission is an AT, i heard the transmissions all bolt up and there werent any problems, i cant find the old thread, it was years back, i also heard something about still running the 1.8L ECU w/ the 2.0L engine. ANYWAYS. i dont plan on changing it to a manual. i dont really care, just want the engine in there.
any comments would be appreciated. i plan on getting the 2.0L ECU but the other ECU is just a question i have.

The EJ20 isn't any easier than the EJ257 swap, it's just a little cheaper. They will all bolt to your transmission, but you can't run the EJ20 with your 1.8 ECU. When you buy a donor, you need to either get an automatic WRX (good luck) or swap a 5 speed in with it. Make sure that the clip you buy has a COMPLETE wiring harness, because that is by far the most difficult part of a swap. You also need to be sure that you get a crossmember with the engine, because your stock one won't work.

Im in the same boat. My 94 has a 94 version one swap in it, complete with ecu, harness, and trans.

The only problem is, under the dash is a real mess.

Wiring diagrams would be great......
