Ok so I have looked at some threads about swapping auto to manual and they seem to have only a half *** parts list of what you need. So I was wondering if anyone has a legit parts list of what you need completly. People that have the comments of "just buy a manual its not worth it to swap it" please dont comment, its getting annoying. I am looking for this to be a fun learning experience. So if anyone has a list or a write up how they did their own, thatd be a great help. So far what I think I need is:
1. Transmission -duh
2. driveshaft
3. transmission crossmember
4. pedal assembly
5. master cylinder
6. slave cylinder
7. rear diff w/ matching final drive
8. wiring, Basically, need switches for pedals and starter solenoids and transmission plugs, transmission speed sensor

what else am I missing...any small parts I am missing? By the way I have a 99 2.5RS...this doesnt have LSD does it? meaning I dont have to replace axles correct? Also do I need all the parts to be from a 99 or can it be from a 98 00 or 01...
I have a guy that says he has all parts(so he says) for $1200. Is this a good price or should I part my way through it seperetly. What did you pay for your entire swap?

 

when I had my 2002 WRX swapped, they had me get the manual ECU too
