I have a 1.8 impreza awd manual the engine is about gone in it. I have a legacy with a 2.2 turbo motor automatic transmission. Im wondering how hard a engine swap would be to put the 2.2 in the 1.8 or possible Thanks

I know nothing about an answer for you, but I'd appreciate getting into the mix here. My engine just blew on my 94 Legacy 2.2 turbo/automatic. I'm expecting an importer of the Japanese "pull-out" engines to have one of the old single turbo replacement engines for me, but I'm also wondering if one of the Legacy twin turbo engines (as is used in Japan and did not see the US market) can be resonably installed into my '94. Sorry to interrupt; I just found this site and I'm a little excited!!
