Car Info: 1992 Legacy Touring Wagon
CA: FS/WTT 1992 Subaru Legacy Turbo Wagon with a 5-speed swap

Up for sale is my 1992 Subaru Legacy Touring Wagon with a 5-speed swap. She’s not perfect, but she runs great, has great power, and rides awesome. I'd been working on getting the car is the best condition I could as I was planning on keeping it for the long run. However, things don't always go as planned and the transmission I put in while living in CT a year ago has lost 2nd gear. Unfortunately, unlike back in CT, I don't have access to a lift and a couple friends to help me replace this transmission, and this happened right as I was graduating college, moving to the city, with loans now due. So I don't have funds to fix the car, a place or to tools to work on it, and I'd like to get it out of my cousin's place (where the subaru is living now now).

This car always put a smile on my face and was a blast to drive around. I've gotten more complements about this car than any other one I've owned (kinda weirdly)

So I'm looking to either trade for a running car or to sell it whole at the moment.

Lets start off with the AWESOME:

I've put a lot of work into this car, with the intent of making it a reliable DD that would last, so I was going over it replacing almost everything

Exterior:
-04 LGT rims or 2000 Forester rims
-Yakima Roof basket, or custom bike frame roof basket
-JDM glass headlights with sylvania silverstar headlight bulbs
-Sticker bombed fender to cover mismatched panel
-06 wrx hood scoop to match up with the 06 wrx intercooler
-California car (NO RUST)

Interior:
-Alpine CD/MP3 Dash unit
- CTD component speakers in the front, CTD coaxials in the rear hatch (think tailgating), kicker coaxials in the rear strut towers (there is a switch to change rear power between the hatch and strut ones), two carbon fiber CTD 8” subs, and a 5 way kicker amp powering it all.
-WRX front seats
-Painted center console to match interior for 5 speed with new felt in center pocket
-Custom Leather shift boot with red stiching
-97 Legacy Momo steering wheel
-Momo shift **** (matches wheel but kinda crappy)
-Push button Starter (the button needs replacing)
-Very clean interior
-LED white lights in map, courtesy, and dome lights
-Subaru rear cargo organizer
-A/C blows cold
-Extra parts (climate control, vents, plastics, etc, etc)

Engine:
-runs amazing
-blows a little smoke after sitting for a week or more on start up
-WRX td04 turbo
-06 WRX intercooler set up
-Manual boost controller
-Engine regrounded
-Exedy Lightweight flywheel (about 40k)
-Exedy Organic Stage 1 clutch (about 40k, ZERO chatter)
-Resonator delete
-NEW valve cover gaskets
-NEWer rear main seal (40k)
-NEW shift fork (20k)
-NEW shift cable (20k)
-NEW Starter
-NEW Alternator
-NEW pulleys on the front of the engine
-NEW water pump ant thermostat
-NEW knock sensor
-NEW O2 sensor
-Greddy Evo 2 muffler (sounds like a subtle yet expensive STi, welded to be removable onto the stock setup. This setup is smogable
-3” Helix turbo back exhaust on at the moment, sounds amazing.
-Yellow top battery
-K&N airfiler
-Always had Full Synthetic and religious oil changes at 3k
-FSM's!!!!!! (Complete set)

Drivetrain:
-STi SS brake lines
-New brake pads (about 20k)
-Sti Short-Throw shifter
-Group N engine, transmission mounts + pitch stop
-5 speed swap with 4.111 final drive
-NEW Raceland coilovers with height adjustment. Rides amazing if a bit stiff and low. Very rarely had bottoming out issues though so perfect for what I was looking for.
-NEW front axles (10k)
-Red Line Synthetic in rear diff

NOT INSTALLED (But you get with purchase!)
-3 gauge pillar pod
-autometer pyrometer and EGT gauge
-06' WRX intercooler with silicone piping
-Imitation HKS SQV blow off valve modified to fit for an 06 intercooler and extended for the legacy
-Wagon Mafia Sticker
-Legacy STi Sticker set
-RS Turbo Fender Stickers
-Cleaned non JDM lights

The Bad This is everything I can think of at the moment.
-The transmission has lost 2nd gear and 1st is sitting between where it and 2nd should be. It'll need a rebuild or a 5-speed transmission out of a NA Legacy
- The LGT rims have about 35% tread left and the forester rims have no tread left.
-small oil leak
-headlights are JDM so they shine a little high (i dont really care, they're sick)
-246,000 miles
-clear coat going on roof, some on hood
-Turn Signals don’t click off when the steering wheel returns (mod made to allow steering wheel to fit)
-Starter button needs replacing
-will need the MAF replaced to pass smog

I'm looking to either sell it trade for something running, preferably Japaneses, 5-speed, and awd or rwd. But let me know what you have. I love cool kinda quirky cars. I'd want about $2000. Any less than that and It's worth my time to part it out. But I'd like to try to keep it whole if possible.

(eight six zero) six seven zero – four eight three two

Car is in Fairfax, CA 94930

Ask for Ross. text are fine. You'll probably have to leave a message if you call as I can't talk while working.
