I wanted to share a little story that happened today at work. I am a Manager for Bank of America in Merced and our banking center was robbed which is obviously is a serious offense. I was in a meeting in Clovis and I get a call that my teller was robbed, so I hurry back into Merced and find a whole bunch of cops talking to my associates and trying to figure what he looked like and what he was driving etc etc. We are located in a Savemart so one of the clerks let us know that the robber fled in a silver Subaru, and he was with another indivdual. Everyone pauses and jokes Chris you sure it wasn't you ( I drive a Silver 08 Impreza Wrx ) and was out of the office at the time. So I watch video and see this dumbass pulling what looks like a card out and uses our ATM before the robbery and i think no way would he be stupid enough to be a customer and use the ATM before he goes and robs us. I let the detectives know and call into our ATM support to see if they could verify if anything was done a few mintues before the robbery and what do you know he did!! The lady gives me an account # and it comes as a BOFA account, i look up the account # and get the name and address and everything the detectives would need. I dont want to get to carried away because the card could be stolen so I pull up a photo on the ATM card that is being used and what do you know it's the same guy in the video.. I just start laughing thinking wow this guy is the worst bank robber ever.. I get everything to the detectives and they are like are you serious? This guy is effin stupid.. Turns out the robber is on parole for previous bank robberies, so the cops are like well we know who he is and we should find him in no time.. The best part of the story!!! I get a call 2 hours later saying i just wanted to let you know we found the suspect and he is custody, great!! where did you find him!! We found him at a Subaru dealership in Fresno trying to purchase a new car with stolen $$$$.. lol i wonder if he was trying to pick up a new STI... IDK I thought it would be something funny to share with the Subaru community.. I almost want to send this to the TV show " WORLDS DUMBEST CRIMINALS"

Of course not. If he already had a stolen subaru then why buy another one with stolen money? Clearly you should skip the bank and just steal a replacement subaru.
