Cobb put alot of time and effort into thier SF intake i dont doubt what every on is stateing about the sound the pipe it self has many divisions in it thats my opinion i am actually runinng a AVO rec/atmo i leave it at rec it sound good but i might just get the Cobb SF intake it a work of art

Ya i love my intake.. i ran it a little while with it off and def noticed a small decrease of spool up time and it holds a little bit higher boost with the cobb intake.

And ya the only way i would put a BOV on would be to run it full rec. But if i did that then spending the money on the BOV would be a waist cause the stock BPV does just fine on its own. lol

I had a BOV and it totally screwed up my performance, so the stock one went back on... really... I want the sound but not at the cost of my performance... I wonder how those 2 way action ones work that partially blow off and partially recirculate? If it doesn't hurt performance, I'd be inclined to do it... although they're a bit expensive... I don't have the Cobb intake, I have a Typhoon. It sounds pretty crazy cause you can really hear the turbo whistle and this massive sucking sound like a vacuum of air escaping an airplane. lol. It's cool... and if I stay off the throttle... I get about 2 mpg per gallon... it helps, especially since we shop off the bottom line...

Not to sure about the 50/50 BOV's. They will work better but your car will still run a little rich IMO. Im happy with the sounds i get out of my intake, so my want/need for a BOV have gone. I completely agree from what you said, why ruin performance for a sound? lol

I don't have a flange, but I do have an extra keyboard you can use since it seems as thought your shift/caps lock key is sticking...

I used to have an Agency Power 50/50 on my car. It coughed and sputtered every time I shifted. I noticed it was doing that when I decided to put my stock one back on Stock BPV FTW!
