AccessPort quandary

When I bought my 2007 Wrx I said " Just a catback"......that didn't happen, I moved on to a 2014 Wrx and said the very same thing. 3 months later I find myself wanting to go stage 2 but trying to justify spending $650 on an AP3 or going open sourse. Is the Accsess Port worth the $550 extra?

Dude just get the AP2, they're a lot cheaper now and the AP3 isn't all that different. IMO I think its a waste to get the AP3 unless you plan on mounting it for monitoring. There's no difference in maps or anything.

Not sure I can get an AP2 for a 2014,if I could than that would be my route since I'm basically just using it to flash my car

Either way you should getting a custom tune and not running Cobb's crap OTS maps. Whichever method you use should depend on who you get tuned by.

I'm looking for a stage 2 map while I find out what direction I will be going(HP wise), probably won't be getting Pro tuned just for a TBE
