It's going to be a bit tricky on the sale....I have to warn you.
It'll need to be treated as being registered in CA for the first time. (Even though it previously was)
But I will definately let you know when I get the green light and actually put her out there for sale.
The only thing I know that is wrong with the car is that one of the studs on the exhaust side of the turbo is partially stripped. It holds, but there may be a minor leak there.

Marc-
Ever thought about just putting it in storage while you are in Japan? the Navy will pay all storage costs for one car if you are sent overseas. With all the extra COLA you will get along with the frequent deployments on the sh*tty kitty you shuld be able to get the WRX paid off in no time. An SK1 I worked with did the exact same thing with his new Explorer before he came to 136, just a thought or are you not planning on coming back stateside? with all of CNFJ's new gay little rules over COT's it makes it kind of hard to stay.
LOL I've been a member here for a long *** time and this is my first post, just browsing and I saw your post.
Seriously though I'd just put her in storage, get her paid off quick and then when you return stateside you still have a badass ride as well as all the JDM stuff you manage to get for her while your in Yoko.
Dont sell! I sold my GTO while in Japan and I'm still kicking myself in the *** for that.
BTW I like the idea of getting an R33 GTS25t, I seriously miss mine

not sure if I'll be coming back stateside or not.
Boxer engines don't hold up well for long term storage. Gravity tends to wreak havoc on the horizontally opposed engines.
Considering I'll be on the Carrier Strike Group Staff....I'm pretty sure I'll have less probelms doing one COT. Only have 6 years left in at this point.

Right now, I owe $17,300
KBB is $13,480
Going to be losing $3820, so ideally I'd like to cut the difference as much as possible. Definately want to avoid going below the Kelley Blue Book.
Timing belt was already changed at 60,000 miles.
Clutch was changed at 65,000 miles
Brake pads and rotors at the same time as the clutch

It's official.
Looking for $1000 over KBB obo, which with everything that is on/in the car, plus the timing belt and such is a pretty good deal.
Need to sell by late April (that is also when it is availble. Need it for a bit longer)
