I will most likely put this up for sale as soon as I get my orders and pass the screenings for being stationed in Japan, so the car might be up for sale early 07.

Don't want to commit to selling until I am 100% sure that I am going.

I'm surprised that you aren't more interested in picking up something in Japan... used cars are super cheap over there... and the JDM market has some really cool/fun cars we'll never get here.

I can appreciate your wanting to keep yours though. That's a lot of work. Very nice looking car!

I was previously stationed in Japan for 10 years, had my fun with some nice Nissan's.

If I do let go of the wagon...I'll be getting either a C33 Laurel (RB20DET) off of a friend or I will get a nicely setup R33 Skyline GTS25T for under $10k.

The problem with my WRX is how much I owe vs. the KBB.

the 2002 cars were smog exempt for 4 years from the date of purchase or at least starting in 2002, that means sometime in 2006, the car would need to be smogged if it was being sold especially in Ca, regardless of where it was from.

Bump - Just to give an update:

I am still waiting on my transfer orders to come through. Once I get those I can begin screening for my tour in Japan. Once I am cleared the car will go up for sale.

Pretty funny considering I realized in the dream that this was "Wrong"....
