CA: 2003 Bugeye with built motor and STI drivetrain swap

Guys,

I am selling my bugeye build. This car have been my on going build. I just recently got it broken in and tuned by Travis at Snail Performance. As it stands today with a stock map sensor, it makes 414whp and 21 lbs of boost. The car is built to make around 500whp, the only thing holding it back is an AEM map sensor (Omni ones don’t work well with 16 bit ECUs. which I found out the hard way when I got to Travis). This car has a full STI drivetrain swap. I will list everything I can remember as a list of mods below. The car is almost done powerwise, just need some coilovers and aesthetics. If you are looking to build a bugeye, all the hard work and majority of the money spent is done already here. There are well over $25,000 in mods alone and thousands more spent to get the car together. Just about everything in this car that is aftermarket is new, including a full Rallispec built long block. All the suspension components are new like control arms and tie rods. New bearings on the STI knuckles. I can provide any records via email that I had with the different vendors. For example, my conversations with Dave and Rallispec on what I wanted out of this build.. I’m selling this car only because I have a new project that I took over that I couldn’t refuse. I’m looking for $17,500 for the car. I would like to see someone pick it up and finish the build. I don’t want to consider parting it out, since it is so close to being done and so much effort have just went into it.

Couple of note of things that needs to be sorted out on the car are as follow.

The car right now occasionally would stall at stop due to RPMs dropping too low. Travis is looking into this for me, may be fixed by the time you come look at the car. This have been fixed by Travis' most recent tune.
The CPS sensor code comes up time to time, Travis believes this have to do with the gapping on the Cosworth cam bracket, which you will find tons of threads about. We adjusted it since and it seems better now. My suggestion would be to get map sensor and get this car fully tuned, because the rest of it can be tuning.
This car was a SF car. so there are some dings and scrapes. My intention was to do all the performance upgrades first and then work on aesthetics. You can choose to have it look any way to choose at this point. You can even keep it as is to make it a sleeper too.

Here are the list of mods…

I won’t say don’t waste my time and I won’t waste yours BS, since we are all car people and its always fun to talk cars, but please be respectful and not throw out a lowball number without even giving it a look in person.
