wow, rsx owners be hatin.
i was reading on the honda forums and the rsx club forum and kept seeing a lot of id rather have my luxury with moonroof instead of a "WRX srt4 turbocharged piece of crap" its like theres a war between the subaru vs honda or AWD vs FWD. people cant just accept and appreciate what they have. instead so much hatin. people need to stop hatin and start congrajulatin. and face the facts.

also i see a lot of the rsx looks good "WRX is ugly" on the rsx forums, i think the WRX looks real good, im sure its just they are jealous and dont know how to congrajulate. jealousy can be a very ugly thing. to me the rsx looks good and so does the WRX, no need to call a WRX ugly just because itll smoke any rsx. its like calling a hot girl "ugly" just because you wont be getting any *****. thats wat i have to say to those people who posted negative things about WRX's on the rsx forums.

Way I think is that they spent 25000+ on an overpriced Honda that performance wise isn't really spectacular(compared to say...WRX, or 1/4mile wise, the SRT4). Then they need to boost their ego up that they have a better car. This goes on everywhere, especially in the computer hardware sector
. With the exception of the G35 coupe and the 3.2TL-S, I don't think there is any "luxo-performance" car that is worth its price. Look at the IS300 and the RSX-S.

Most of the people around me I see driving RSXs are middle aged women!
Originally I wanted a base model RSX but after a test drive(I realized just how tiny the car is for a 6' tall driver) and an insurance quote(it was going to be about $800 more than my Impreza, and about $400 more than a WRX would be!) I decided to look into other cars. Ended up with an 04 OBS and I'm really glad I went with it over the RSX. I figure it's got more space, will be better in the snow, isn't as common on the roads, is more affordable, and less likely to be stolen.
If it wasn't for the insurance costs and need for premium fuel, I'd probably have purchased a WRX wagon instead, but those two combined would have just been two expensive for me. No regrets though(well except maybe that they don't offer moonroofs on the Impreza wagons ), I'm quite content with my car.

awesome, congrats to you, also the RSX's here are not hondas anymore unlike the acura GSR and the acura type R, they are acura cars here but with honda engines. from japan, thats why when u looked inside the acura GSR or the TYpe R it would have a "H" emblem on the vavle cover cause it came from japan. now the RSX's have "the acura emblem" instead of the "H" for Honda. they dont have in japan its all HONDA, if u see a RSX type S in japan, its not really an RSX type S, its there new generation integra type R. =)

Money talks!
For about a year I was thinking about getting the RSX-S Type and I didn't really give the WRX my thoughts because I thought it was a little ugly and it was a 4 door.
After reading about the WRX, and how great the "experts" thought the car was, I considered it. I test drove both cars several times and the WRX was, HANDS DOWN, the better car to drive. Besides, I hated the high-pitched VTEC engine whine.
Now that I have the 2004 WRX, I look at the RSX and think: "Looks like a lot of other cars." The WRX looks so different that I consider it a big plus. Who wants a car that looks like every other one on the road?
BTW, the 4 doors and large trunk are great! I can't believe I was such a 2-door snob for so long.

this website seems to contradict itself. there are guys on here who make fun of hondas all the time: "oh looks to much like rice and blah blah blah." you all know that you disrespect hondas and acuras because of it's lights, stickers, and fwd. and now some of you are disappointed that rsx and honda people are making fun of the imprezas. tuff. all i can say is:
most japanese cars are nice. you should all think about what you put down. if there are any cars to put down, it is the american muscle that can't last. for that matter, i love and prefer the sound of an rsx s exhaust over a wrx. i love the wrx and that is why i'm in this club. but each car is different and is no means in the same class. rsx s is cheaper than a wrx, feels sportier in rsx than a wrx. handling is superb in wrx than an rsx, wrx has "sport features" like drilled pedals, momo steering wheel. the rsx s is a sport luxury car with STANDARD moonroof, leather, bose system, short shifter. both cars are great and the rsx is 3k cheaper.

rsx is 160 hp, ofcourse its cheaper, its a nice luxury sports car, the rsx type S 200hp. is $27,000+. acura/honda is expensive but good and reliable.
the rsx is more expensive than the wrx, luxury cars usually are.
acura is for america, in japan its not acura, its honda.
the new rsx's have acura engines in them just like the CL's and TL's
thats why its not called integra anymore, the new generation integra in japan is the rsx here but over there they have the new generation integra type R instead of the rsx type S here. open the engine hood of an rsx, itll show an "acura" emblem on it. am i bursting anyones bubble?
