Nissan Fairlady Z32 (~725hp)
This took place in Kobe, Japan.
This car belonged to someone I had met at a Sapporo Beer Restaurant early in the week and started hanging out with (he and his wife owned a bar in Kobe). I have absolutely no idea what engine internals he was running, but he did have some kind of big single turbo conversion and like $5000 Grex/Alcon Brakes. I had only been in Japan for like 5 days when I drove it, so I drove it pretty slow (never exceeded like 70mph), but I've never had my head slammed against a seat like that.
He also had some kind of ultra-dish 5-spoke wheels under his widebody kit which I still haven't ever been able to find. I wasn't as into cars at the time so I didn't think to ask about most of the parts. Suffice it to say that I have wanted a Z32 twin turbo ever since.

My grandfather's '67 Camaro. He built a 454 with a 250 shot of nitrous. He drove it every day to and from work (AeroJet before Clinton laid off 15,000+ employees). He wanted to be able to drive it on the freeway so it only had a 3:1 rear diff. I never took it to the drag strip but would assume a high 12 second pass. With lower gears it would deffinetely break 11.
or
An ex coworker's '66 Coronet. It was bright Orange and had an Indy headed 440. He always claimed over 700hp and after I drove it I was convinced.
