it would be quite close, but according to Road and Track the WRX clocks a 14.4 and the R32 runs a 14.1, but these tests occured at different times and places so there may be some variation.
On a side note, I find it interesting that the R32 is compared to the Evo and STi in the magazines because the price is similar. The performance is very close all around to the WRX. The R32 is simply much more refined, which is what you're paying for.
