Upgrade Horror Stories ?
I am wondering what upgrades/mods folks have done to their WRX that they did not like or did not really improve anything.
I am about to make my first change.....I am installing a MRT/whiteline rear way bar 22mm. Hoping that will improve the understeer issue.
Cheers,
Tom

When you first start doing stuff, its scary cause you think it might not be worth it.
Then you find out it is worth it, and cant stop doing it
Ive had a couple mods I wouldnt have done, but nothing in the horror story realm other than some bad luck during complicated installs leading to doubling or tripling the time it took to install
That wont happen with a swaybar though, one of the easiest mods by far.

I've heard of people screwing up the headlight mod, mostly heating the oven too hot and melting their headlight lenses. The worst mistake I think you can make (assuming you're being cautious) is not doing enough research and buying something you have to replace later down the road because you want something better.
