Subaru to make Saab 9-2

Anybody else hear about this. I read it in this weekends Wall Street Journal. Saab wants to sell sub-$30k car and Subaru is going to make it for them...based on the WRX.

I cant wait to hear the specs on it... i've always loved saabs for their turbocharged 4's... i cant wait to see how a subaru-sabb (2 of my favorite comanys) turns out

Some people are upset about this, but I think it's kind of cool. I'd like to see Saab's interpretation of the WRX. It'll be like having two totally different body styles available for the same car. If you don't like one, you might like the other.

Supposedly Subaru is quite irate about sharing their vehicles, but this is a boardroom deal between FHI and GM, and Subaru didn't have any say in the matter. I guess FHI is just seeing dollar signs, which really should benefit Subaru enthusiasts in the long run.
