G'day peoples, i've got a Subaru Impreza GX 97 Model, im wondering if i can get turbo for that? or will i blow my heads because the PSI will be to high for it?

any help please?

I'm not familiar the engine in the GX, but I'm assuming that in 1997 it was the 2.2 liter, correct? You can turbocharge just about anything and I'm sure that there is one kit or another out there for that engine. However there are a lot of factors that you must consider first, most importantly is how many miles do you have on that engine? Typically, the more miles you have the less reliably it can be turbocharged. However, through tuning you can set the turbocharger to boost very low PSI, so that should not be an issue for you.

I don't know a whole lot about it and this is the best I can do, hopefully it helps. Anyone else have anything?
